Exhibition - February 12–March 3, 2012

The Colored Pencil Project recently held an exhibit in conjunction with the ActonArt Drawing School, featuring artwork from children around the world, including work from The Colored Pencil Project’s most recent trip to the Svay Rieng region of Cambodia.

The CPP hosted an opening reception on the afternoon of Sunday, February 12th, serving as a kickoff for the three-week display at ActonArt. Children’s artwork lined the main hallway of the venue, cropped by vibrantly-painted wooden frames: red, green, yellow, blue and orange. Each color indicated the country from which the drawing originated. A consistent flow of locals and friends of the CPP filled the narrow hallway, as they admired the artwork on the crisp, white walls. Refreshments were served at the conclusion of the exhibit, which remained open to the public from 3-6PM.

Thank you to those who showed their support for this exhibition!
